The baby moves

I can feel her kick! Yesterday I felt a hard thump, once, and today as I sit here, I can feel flutterings, which I definitely have not felt before, and aren't coming from any of my organs.

Moving

My recommendation to any woman who is contemplating moving-NEVER move while you are pregnant. Our supposed 14 hour drive from Provo to Kansas turned into about 19 hours, driving a Uhaul truck and stopping every hour for me to get out and run around the car 2 times. Charles and I have decided that we will stay in this town for the rest of our lives, even if it means that we will become farmers. Moving sucks. Luckily we had my dad and sister-in-law along to help drive and unload. The highlight of the whole trip had to be either a) watching my dad and husband moving a 84 ton piano upside down, and having it land on Charles, or b) watching my dad set off the alarm in Charles' car about 10 times a day. I'm not exaggerating about either of these. But we're here safely, the cats are starting to come out from under the bed, and it's damn hot.

Her 3 eyes are really disconcerting. Posted by Hello

We weren't too pleased with the ultrasound pictures we got today at the doctor's office, especially the one of the massive stone in my gallbladder. Charles decided to draw what the baby really looks like. I am planning on sitting this child down after she's old enough to understand, show her this drawing, and tell her what her father really thinks of her. Posted by Hello

So tired... Posted by Hello

Skinny, not tired...pre-pregnancy Posted by Hello

What pregnancy can do to a woman

Check out these 2 pictures, one taken in August at our wedding, and the other taken last weekend in Las Vegas at a trade show. Notice how skinny I was at the wedding, and how non-tired I looked. Looking at the Vegas picture makes me cringe-I look like I've been to hell and back. The sad thing about that is that it's only going to get worse!

I think Charles is really excited to have a little girl. He already enjoys playing dress up with India.  Posted by Hello
