I decided to cut Paisley some bangs last night, as she's constantly brushing hair out of her eyes. And...I don't like them. They change her face somehow. And they're crooked. That's to be expected though, as it's difficult to cut a 2 year old's hair without poking her in the eye.
One morning while I was getting ready for work, she decided she needed to put makeup on too.

She looks cute both ways, but I really like the bangs.
I think she looks absolutely darling. As usual. However, she could use a few lessons on the makeup (as could I).
Just don't start thinking you are going to cut her hair for the rest of her childhood (and preteen years), parting it in the middle with barrettes holding it back on either side while it sticks out this way and that and years later she finds out you only had AN HOUR'S LESSON ON HAIRCUTTING and she has a life-long complex. Oh wait - that's ME.

I think the bangs are totally cute! I had to laugh about them being crooked because it's true - 2 year olds have crooked hair,no matter what. I just cut Logan's hair the other day & it's crooked too. Maybe we could start a trend & call it style rather than mistake :)
I think the bangs are cute! Makes her look more grown up I think? Hailey is constantly pushing her hair out of her eyes too.
love the bangs! so cute!
I adore the bangs! She does look more grown up with them though, but adorable all the same!
She is absolutely adorable!!!!
Grandma thinks they are darling (and NECESSARY).
Everyone agrees. :-)

We miss you... come back to us! :-)
Hello! :) I just happened upon your blog and wanted to let you know that I think the bangs are adorable! lol I have four kids (3 of which are girls) so I know a lot about cutting little bangs. A good tip... Scotch tape! My grandma and mom both did it growing up and now I do it too! You take a piece of tape as wide as the bangs and stick it on at the level you want the bangs to go. Then just cut alone the top of the tape! It gives you a straight line to follow even if the kid moves around and it also grabs the hair so that it doesn't make a mess. Good luck! :)
