One of the things that really bothered me in the hospital (actually, the only thing-the staff was wonderful and attentive, the facilities amazing. There was even a double bed in the recovery room so Charles could stay with me at night) was how the nurses in the nursery kept talking about how BIG Paisley was. She's really not that big, just long. For instance, look how her newborn onesie is falling off of her. Posted by Picasa

If she'd been ten or eleven pounds I might understand why they said that. But she is NOT a "Bubba." When I watched Sarah being born via c-section, the doctors all said that any baby over ten pounds is a "Bubba." Thus Sarah was a "Bubba" at ten pounds, three ounces. Besides, she was a tiny kid (after a normal chubby toddler phase) and we all know that she is certainly not abnormally large now.

Good grief. Do they only have miniature babies in Kansas? Or little short dwarf-like babies (no disrespect intended to miniature babies or short dwarf-like babies)?

Everyone at work who saw the pictures said "oh, how tiny!" and I'd have to agree. Especially in comparison to my "babies". I think that constantine is even bigger now.
