I dragged Charles to the mall tonight so we could do the cheesy American ritual of forcing our kids to sit on some scary man's lap. I honestly thought Paisley would freak and not want anything to do with Santa, but she LOVED him. Loved touching his beard, his costume, his voice. Loved looking at him so much that we had a hard time getting her to look at the camera. When she did, she was all smiles. Santa even said he didn't want her to leave, she was so sweet to him. Awww. I don't think this picture could be any more perfect.

We let P open a few presents tonight. She doesn't quite get the concept. It's much more fun to sit on the box than open it.
So cool! It's a little people dollhouse. After she went to bed, Charles and I fought over who got to put the stickers on it.

OMG I cant believe she was soo good with Santa.. Im so jealous.. not a single photo with santa.. after standing in a 2 hour lineup do I have to show for it. She looks so adorable.. love all the pics!

What a great picture and the Santa is perfect. He looks like the Santa in the remake of a Miracle on 34th Street. Ours was young and extremely grumpy looking. Saoirse wouldn't sit with him, so we only got the baby.
Saoirse got the dollhouse for her birthday in November and the stickers still aren't on it. Nor did we ever install the batteries. Very negectful, we are.

That is a beautiful Santa picture...usually they get screwed up somehow, but Paisley looks gorgeous!
Funny, our daughter also better enjoyed sitting on the presents rather than opening them. We have a similar pic on our blog. I love reading your blog and put a link to it on mine, hope you don't mind, Love, Laura---and yes, the stocking hanger was made by Janet's friend. I love it---the kids cannot play with the stockings.
