Charles is gonna be mad I told...

Congrats to Beca and Andy on the birth of their 3rd baby girl! She's beautiful.

I've been really lax about posting lately, but Paisley has been incredibly cranky all week. It's taken all of my power to not find some gypsies for her to live with. I'm not sure if it's an age thing, or if it's a sickness thing as she's had a runny nose, or if she's just bored with me. Probably some of each. This is the day I let her do her own hair. She's really good. She took the brush and brushed it all forward, rather violently.
Same day. Please don't judge my abilities as a mother on what she's wearing. This child throws tantrums to wear shoes, so I just grabbed some socks without trying to match them. Because her feet smell SO BAD if she doesn't wear socks. I thought that didn't happen until they got older? Same with bad breath, but obviously my theory was completely wrong.
I took the weekend off from mothering and left P with Charles while I went to a bridal shower/bachelorette party in KC. There's nothing to make you feel old like REALLY wanting to go to bed at 10, although the limo wouldn't be taking us home until 2. Anyway, I was really nervous about leaving P, not that I didn't trust Charles, I've just never left her that long. I was away from her for 44 hours!!! Sure enough, about an hour after I left on Friday, she fell down our neighbor's concrete steps onto her head. The pic is blurry, but see the bump and bruise? My poor baby. And tonight? She was in our big rocking chair and rocked it so violently that she tipped it over and ended up across the room. Really. We're not doing this to her.

That's quite a goose egg on there, ow! You know, I was just talking to a friend tonight about toddlers & their accident prone antics. We laughed about how they bump off from everything & they're pretty resilient. It's true. They scare the crap out of us & heal fast.

LOL I think Paisley and my daughter have somehow gotten together (perhaps online while we were otherwise occupied?) because Kira is just.. sooo much like her! :D

They are such daredevils aren't they!! Oh I know what you mean about the shoes...H has some fake pink crocs she loves, she brings them to me all the time "shees" and tries to put them on her feet...she crawls around in a tshirt and her pink crocs and nothing else.
Love the pic where she brushed her own hair. She's just so cute! Her and H would get along great...
